I wanted to add a little more to my analysis of Sailormoon Cosmos from yesterday.

Hear me out - while the prior arcs were centered around Usagi bringing the members of the Sailor Team together and helping them bond as friends, Cosmos was never about the Sailor Team - it was explicitly about Usagi- not to diminish the rest of the Sailor Team, but to explore what she would be without them, and how she would handle that.
