[20:00] <Solarchos> Inu-Kit tried to use healing magic on me as soon as she could, but my ear and a lot of skin on the side of my head had still been eaten away. Neutralizing the toxins was the best she could do. Actually regenerating the tissue would have taken hours or days.

[20:00] <Solarchos> And that was time we didn't have because the Tyranids were still threatening us all, and I was needed at the forefront.

[20:02] <Solarchos> After that Inu-Kit swore she'd never allow me or anyone else to ever suffer like that again. She spent the next several weeks trying to come up with a new form of magic to overcome the Tyranid's adaptive weaponry. Then Morrigan showed her all of our old experiments.
[20:04] <Solarchos> It was then that Inu-Kit had a revelation: combine conventional medicine with magical healing and alchemy into a single discipline. Basically use one to enhance the other, so that the sum of both parts becomes three times as effective.

[20:04] * Solarchos pulls out a bandage pack and offers it to Miara and David.

[20:09] * The bandages inside the package appear to be made out of basic cotton cloth, but heavily impregnated with some kind of paste that smells strongly of herbs. The fabric has also been imprinted with some kind of script that forms a healing spell written right onto the bandage itself.
[20:11] <Solarchos> We focused all of our arcaneotech research into medical applications. Throughout the War we could literally bring people back from the brink of death to full recovery within a day or two.

[20:13] <Solarchos> Once we did that, we gained a major logistical advantage over the forces of the Zealots and the Alliance. No matter how many of our people they wounded or injured, we were able to recover faster than they could imagine.
