[04:57] * Junoko collapses onto the floor after barging through the front door, entering into existance through a hazy mist at the entryway.
[04:58] * Junoko breathes heavily as she lays on the floor. It's evident that she's injured though it can't be seen where exactly. She stirs and opens her eyes, surprised by the lack of noise around her.
[05:00] * Junoko raises her head off the floor and simply stares ahead of her into the lobby of the hotel room. Junoko is glad in full war-regalia. The long, crimson cape that is clasped to her shoulders is torn and shredded, there are many rips in her uniform, revealing the underarmour all soldiers wear on their arms, legs, and torso. She's somehow managed to lose one of her gloves, though she still retains her weapons.
[05:01] * Junoko struggles weakly to rise to her feet, her breathing heavy. She winces and puts her free hand onto her side. She curses under her breath as she feels the stab of pain from the wound in her side.
[05:01] * Junoko deactivates her weapons, putting them away, as she stands and takes a look of her surrounding. The venue is different but a few pieces of furniture seem familiar.
[05:02] * Junoko deactivates the protective helmet she wears, the red visor and helmet vanishing, leaving only the band on her forehead and down the sides of her head. She blinks in confusion.
[05:03] <Junoko> I wanted to get away from the fighting, but this isn't exactly what I meant...
[05:03] * Junoko glances out of the window and frowns, seeing the difference in day and night from where she was just prior to entering.
[05:04] * Junoko smiles wryly.
[05:04] <Junoko> Some paradise this is, all of the women are asleep.
[05:05] * Junoko moves forward to go to one of the sofas and stumbles against an end table, falling down onto one knee. She bites her lip till it bleeds to keep in the cry of anguish welling up inside of her.
[05:06] <Junoko> Maybe....I can..I can recover for a bit here, and go back out into the field when I'm ready..
[05:06] <Junoko> Time works differently here, right?
[05:06] <Junoko> Right...
[05:06] * Junoko groans and quickly gets to her feet, moving to the nearest sofa, and collapsing onto it with a small yelp.
[05:07] <Junoko> Wait..wait...you're smart, c'mon, need to patch up the wound...before...bloodloss
[05:07] * Junoko grunts and sits up, taking off the top of her uniform.
[05:08] * Junoko inspects the wound on her side, biting her lip as she probes it with her fingers.
[05:08] <Junoko> I'll need to take off my armor for this, won't I..
[05:09] * Junoko starts taking off the layers and pieces of her armor, wincing a bit in pain, and muttering about hating having to put on sweaty armor again.
[05:11] * Junoko sits there on the sofa clad in a thin, white, blood and sweat soaked sleeveless shirt. Her breast band is visible beneath the almost translucent material covering her torso. It is apparent that her entire left arm, the left half of her neck, and the upper left portion of her torso is covered in a series of decorative and painful looking scars, each scar clearly leading into the next one. She's very glad no one can see her like this now. She sighs and takes off the shirt as well, rolling it up and dropping it to the floor.
[05:12] * Junoko eyes her wound as it continues to bleed sluggishly. The other cuts and bruises and light burn marks scattered all over her body are currently of no concern at the moment, she merely focuses on her wound.
[05:14] * Junoko reaches into one of the horizontal seams of her pants with her clean hand, revealing it to be a rather large pouch, though it had looked like nothing was there mere seconds ago. She pulls out a small kit and opens it on her lap, taking out a few necessary items.
[05:14] <Junoko> Goddess, Demini, if you could see me right now, you'd probably chide me for my foolishness...
[05:17] * Junoko pours a magical ointment onto her blood-soaked hand and it fizzles a strange, bright green color. She reaches into her wound with her fingers and bites down on a yell. As the magic explores the inside of her wound, it delves deeper until it reaches the end of the ruined tissue. The torn muscle, tissues, and nerve endings begin to repair themselves from the inside to eventually finish at the surface of her skin. She pulls her hand back out with a heavy sigh and with her clean hand she coats the skin around her wound with a glistening white cream.
[05:19] * Junoko cleans off her hands with the pre-packaged moist towel and drops it to the floor as well. She then begins to bandage the wound, placing a magically enhanced healing pad on the wound and then lightly wrapping her torso with bandages.
[05:19] <Junoko> If only we had healing medicines like this when you were still around..
[05:20] * Junoko leans back on the sofa and stares up at the large, expansive and decorative ceiling. She tugs out the golden locket from beneath her breast band and gently holds it in her hand.
[05:20] <Junoko> I miss you Demini...
[05:20] <Junoko> It's times like these where I wish I still had someone as amazing as you in my life.
[05:22] * Junoko sighs and leans forward. She looks to her side to see all of her discarded armor and looks down at her feet to see the ruined shirt and towel.
[05:22] <Junoko> I wish I could come here more often...it seems so much calmer than the s[BLEEP]t going on in Seleono these days.
[05:23] * Junoko begins to put the pieces of her amor back on, fixing any holes and things with a packet that she takes from the kit.
[05:23] * Junoko finishes with her armor, collects the kit and puts it back in the pouch on her leg, which seemingly vanishes.
[05:23] * Junoko picks up her top and gets to her feet.
[05:23] * Junoko looks behind her at the mess she made on the couch.
[05:24] <Junoko> I'm sure it'll get cleaned, knowing this place.
[05:24] * Junoko eyes the cape that's connected to her top. She purses her lips, muttering, "You've seen better days, haven't you girl?"
[05:24] * Junoko slips on her top, closing it snugly.
[05:25] * Junoko frowns.
[05:25] <Junoko> Looks like I'm missing a medal or two...
[05:26] * Junoko shrugs and composes herself. Her eyes become steely, her posture erect, and she activates the magically enhanced helmet, the face-long visor and headgear reappearing in a swirl of red.
[05:26] * Junoko checks to see her weapons are in place and that she has everything.
[05:26] * Junoko nods and strides to the still open front door.
[05:27] * Junoko gazes into the quiet, pre-dawn of the Tokyo night, wondering what life is like in this alien world.
[05:27] * Junoko bares her shoulders and charges through the doorway, weapons activating in her hands as she goes.
[05:27] * Junoko vanishes into the same hazy mist that she entered in.
