[17:32] <Solarchos> The common factor between us was Shaldra Darkness herself.
[17:34] <Solarchos> Noriko ended my association with Shaldra because she wanted her to marry Xadium and guarantee not only her own birth, but that of Lucien the Destroyer. What happened to me in the process was scathing to say the least.
[17:34] <Solarchos> It took me a long time to recover, but it ultimately resulted in me meeting Inu-Kit and marrying her instead.

[17:37] <Solarchos> While my life proceeded onwards and Inu-Kit and I became very happy...I think that was about the time Shaldra Darkness herself began to change.
[17:38] <Solarchos> You and Bixia were right. In the beginning she was very decent. She was level-headed, strong-willed, and easy to like. But something changed in her at some point.
[17:40] <Solarchos> We'd once been friendly but that also soured into antipathy.

[18:09] <Nelius Raoul> So something that can shine brighter than the Sun, even for a brief second would really mess up their day.
[18:09] <Solarchos> Darkness always hated the flash-bang grenades I used because they'd cause her powers to cancel out for a few seconds any time I used them.
[18:09] <Nelius Raoul> Hm, I have been working on that Fire-Star flash bomb.
[18:10] <Solarchos> And we manufacture magically-based blind-flash grenades back in the Federation.
[18:10] <Nelius Raoul> I see. Anything else they're allergic to?
[18:11] <Solarchos> I'm just not sure how effective they'd be. I've also never had a chance to do any serious research into the Shadar-kai. The only thing I can remember her saying about them was that they were vicious.

[18:12] <Solarchos> There's probably more to them, and for all we know the Shadar-kai connection could be unrelated, but it's a piece of information I know most people here were unaware of.
