[19:23] <Solarchos> When we began the meeting with the Imperial Envoy, it began with the usual pomp and ceremony...and things then got weird when the first two guests came through the airlock.
[19:24] <Solarchos> Space Marines. In BLACK armor wearing hooded, sleeveless tabards like mine. They weren't Dark Angels, they were First Legion.
[19:24] <Solarchos> Fallen Angels. Just like Trajan and I.

[19:26] <Solarchos> Yeah. I remembered hearing that a large number of Fallen Angels helped Guilliman during his return to Terra. And the two Fallen who were part of the Envoy's mission knew EXACTLY who I was.

[19:31] <Solarchos> It was the Fallen who were able to connect what little the Imperium had pieced together about the Federation to me because they recognized some of the equipment that was used at Cadia.
[19:32] <Solarchos> Remember, the Fallen Angels took part in the Egae Crusade and Trajan and Serbius recognized BOTH of the Fallen who'd shown up.

[19:35] <Solarchos> They weren't hostile, but they'd acted as intermediaries...and they brought a communique to me DIRECTLY from Terra.

[19:37] <Solarchos> The Primarch of the 13th Legion.

[19:40] <Solarchos> He KNOWS the Federation exists now. Before the Envoy could open the stasis lock of the box holding the message, one of the other Space Marines escorting the Fallen Angels and everyone else drew a bolt pistol and shot me in the head.

[19:40] <Solarchos> Or rather, he TRIED to shoot me in the head. The refractor field of my armour absorbed the majority of the impact, but it still caused me a significant injury.
[19:41] <Solarchos> At that same moment, the Imperial's ship opened fire on the Defender of Cadia while several companies of Imperial Guard tried to stage a mutiny.
[19:42] <Solarchos> Everything ALMOST fell apart into a full-fledged shooting war, but Alldrogis and Ruby showed up out of nowhere and began a counter-attack from inside BOTH ships.
[19:42] <Solarchos> Spearheaded by a few THOUSAND Aratasujous.

[19:45] <Solarchos> Somebody downloaded a basic combat program into a bunch of Ara-su's spare bodies and launched the "Familiar Crusade".
[19:45] <Solarchos> And it was brutal. The Alpha Legion had infiltrated with a few hundred Operatives and those Operatives had sown enough misinformation to cause mass confusion.
[19:46] <David O`Cain> I imagine everyone onboard was surprised by the sheer number of Ara-sus.
[19:46] <Solarchos> Overall, there was only about ten Chaos Marines in total. We captured four of them alive.
[19:47] <Solarchos> Two I executed out of hand to ensure that I had the Alpha Legionnaires UNDIVIDED attention. And to make one of those Fallen Angels shut the f[BLEEP]k UP.

[20:05] <Solarchos> And I remember him too...as one of the trainers who was ALWAYS making a big show of defeating me in the combat cages when I was just a Aspirant.

[20:07] <Solarchos> However, hacking that Alpha Legion Chaos Marine practically in half finally silenced Daskhorael. And made Trajan laugh his ass off.

[20:08] <Solarchos> A weakling bully who could fight Chuck Norris to a stalemate. He didn't conquer a dozen Imperial worlds through luck.
[20:09] <Solarchos> Either way, the Envoy survived and when we ripped the helmets off of all four Alpha Legion and saw EXACTLY what they looked like, he was convinced that we hadn't tried to double-cross the Imperium.
[20:10] <Solarchos> And we read the entire message from Guilliman in front of BOTH of the surviving Alpha Legionnaires just to piss them off since they'd tried to prevent it all from happening.

[20:12] <Solarchos> Like I said, Roboute Guilliman knows about us now. He thanked the Federation for trying to assist the Imperium at the Fall of Cadia. We weren't able to prevent it from happening, but he acknowledges that we at least TRIED and we helped save a great many Cadians before the planet shattered.
[20:12] <Solarchos> He also praised us for trying to stand up to Abaddon himself.
[20:13] <David O`Cain> Heh. He must have been impressed by how Megan and I were able to get our licks in against that jerkoff.
[20:16] <Solarchos> He acknowledged that we dabble in xenotech and Warp-magicks, but we seem to know what we're doing. We're definitely NOT a Chaos faction and he certainly can't complain too much about anyone using alien technology.
[20:17] <Solarchos> He wants to know more about the Federation so that he can make an informed decision about the Federation in general. To that end, he requested the creation of a Codex detailing everything about the Federation, and a little bit about everyone else too.
