[17:53] * Slowly, the police station comes into view. Being that this is Japan, it's a semi-detached building attached to other buildings, so it's easy to get on its roof from another bulding
[17:54] * D. Kakaku jumps to the roof, and looks around.
[17:55] *** the holding cells are in the police station, it's not like there's a separate jail. There is a door on the roof leading inside, but there is a policeman guarding it. Roll 1d20 to see if he noticed you landing on the roof.

[17:56] * the Cop saw you land! He looks at you in shock, hand going for his gun

[17:57] * The cop looks you over curiously since you are also in uniform. "What's going on here?" he asks, keeping his gun pointed at you.

[17:58] * D. Kakaku looks at the rank of the officer.
[17:58] * "By the roof?" he asks incredulously. He's a lowly beat cop.
[17:59] <D. Kakaku> I had to use the roofs because of the crowds.

[18:00] * the cop wavers... it sort of makes sense, but... "I didn't hear anything from HQ about this...."
[18:00] * he keeps coming closer, trying to get a look at your face
[18:02] <D. Kakaku> If HQ sent anything out, some of these fans have their own scanners, I'd have been dragged in mere moments and knocked out.

[18:11] * The Cop lowers his gun and smiles slightly, a bit nervous. "You got that right... I'm glad I'm up here far away from all those people... they're nuts!"
[18:12] * He walks to the rooftop door and opens it. "So what's going on? Are you here to back us up if they riot?"
[18:13] <D. Kakaku> if push comes to shove, hopefully they won't
[18:13] * D. Kakaku steps on through.
[18:14] * "I dunno man... it's like people are drunk when it comes to anything Yuki-chan... I mean I'm a fan too, but they are WAY too obsessed with her."
[18:14] * He walks with you down some stairs towards the main office.
[18:16] <D. Kakaku> yes, they are very crazed right now.
[18:16] *** You can hear voices up ahead. Right now it's just you and him, but soon you won't be alone any longer.
[18:17] <D. Kakaku> so, can you point me in the direction of the cell?
[18:18] * he looks confused for a moment, but then puts 2 and 2 together. "Oh! They sent you to help guard the prisoner. Sure. Thankfully he's been quiet." He points the way to the cell, which is part of a block down an adjoining hallway.

[18:19] * D. Kakaku walks in the direction where the policeman pointed..
[18:20] * The Cop salutes, and heads on towards the voices, away from you.
[18:20] * D. Kakaku salutes back and keeps on going.
[18:21] * There are about six cells in this block, mostly filled with drunk salarymen sleeping off the booze. At the far end there's one cell with a policeman standing guard, looking bored. The Policeman looks your way briefly, but then returns his attention to a crossword puzzle he's doing.
[18:24] * D. Kakaku walks towards the cell

[18:25] * The Policeman is stumped by the puzzle and annoyedly throws his newspaper onto the ground. This means his full attention is freed up... for you. A cop he's never seen before.
[18:26] * "Hey..." he asks suspiciously. "Who are you?"
[18:26] * D. Kakaku looks at the policeman
[18:26] <D. Kakaku> they sent me from HQ to guard the prisoner.
[18:27] * The policeman STARES at you for a second, then GRINS
[18:27] * "Oh thank GOD!" he exclaims. "I was losing my f[BLEEP]king mind guarding that guy. He just sits there with his eyes closed and doesn't say anything! It's CREEPY man."
[18:28] * he walks past you, patting you on the shoulder. "Feel free to finish up my puzzle if you want."
[18:28] * The policeman walks off down the hall.
[18:29] * D. Kakaku looks to see if the coast is clear, and if there is anything around.
[18:30] * the vcoast is clear. Security cameras are off, as per the police chief's instructions. The prisoners in the other cells are asleep.

[18:30] * D. Kakaku looks at the cell.
[18:31] * in the cell you see a well-dressed man sitting in the darkness, eyes closed.





[18:32] * he doesn't acknowledge your presence.
[18:33] <D. Kakaku> (hmmm, to make him small, I might have to make me small, too.)
[18:34] * D. Kakaku twists the dial, shrinking down to about an inch.
[18:34] * D. Kakaku has moved to: [ 1 in ]
[18:35] * The man doesn't seem to have noticed.
[18:35] * D. Kakaku [1 in] jumps through the cell door.
[18:35] * outside, you can hear yelling, and screaming, and bottles breaking. Things are heating up fast!

[18:36] * D. Kakaku [1 in] walks towards the man, looking up.
[18:38] * He looks gigantic from your POV. You can see his suit is clean and crisp but also old and well-worn.
[18:39] * D. Kakaku [1 in] jumps onto the bench in front of him and zaps him with a shrinking beam.
[18:39] * The man gasps in surprise as the beam hits him and he begins to shrink! Then, he closes his eyes, accepting this fate with equanimity.
