[20:59] *** Now you're starting to get some idea of what's going on. The sender has somehow hacked into the Q.E.C. and hijacked the carrier signal. The loss of data and bandwidth has been enormous, but the sender HAS to have known that. They must be really determined or desperate.

[19:50] *** The mist is continuing to thicken, and in the areas engulfed by it the buildings and other features of the CITY are starting to look indistinct, like the some other place is being superimposed over it all.

[19:54] *** You can almost see...trees growing in the distance. Some of them are massive, like redwoods.

[20:38] *** Other things are moving among the mist as well: tiny figures dressed in robes with the cowls drawn over their faces.

[20:45] *** The mist starts to dissipate, and the figures withdraw, but for an instant you catch a glimpse of the main figure's face: an older man, looking to be in his 50s, with receding, greying hair that used to be blond, a very pale complexion, and stern features.

[20:47] *** The mists dissipate and vanish, leaving behind the smell of the forest, and the vines that had grown up from between the floor tiles and cracks.
