[08:54] * D. Kakaku [Beach] sees nothing out of the ordinary then, and takes a walk into the forest.
[08:54] * LadyAlice [Beach] pulls out a journal from her pocket. She scribbles down where she is on the island, having been mapping out her adventures for weeks now. She takes her time, writing very descriptive notes.
[08:56] * D. Kakaku [Beach] walks down the normal path, but then stops at the sight of...
[08:56] *** ... OH No, Bot the SWARM of BEES!
[08:57] * D. Kakaku [Beach] starts walking back the other way and Starts running..
[08:57] *** The swarm takes off, chasing him.
[08:58] * LadyAlice [Beach] hiccups as she writes, a couple of purple bubbles escaping out of her.
[08:58] * LadyAlice [Beach] glances upwards, away from the inviting swirling portal.
[08:58] * LadyAlice [Beach] gazes out back into the forest, her Drink Me potion giving everything a lavender haze.

[08:59] * LadyAlice [Beach] wonders if she's hearing whispers tugging at the corners of her mind. That portal sure is inviting... surely nothing can go terribly wrong, right?

[09:00] * LadyAlice [Beach] closes the book and puts it back into her pocket where is disappears once more with all of her other doodads.
[09:01] *** for any tiny beings, a small voice might be heard saying "Get him for the Queen!"
[09:01] * LadyAlice [Beach] reaches up to gently touch the chain-choker collar embedded in her neck, as though to bolster her confidence and reassure that everything will be alright.
[09:01] * LadyAlice [Beach] no longer hesitates and steps into the portal, vanishing.
[09:05] * D. Kakaku [Beach] is running, and isn't watchign the ground and thus... trips over a rock.

[12:10] * LadyAlice [Beach] finds herself embroiled in a massive political battle on the plane of existence known as the feywild, a magical place in which all of feykind spawned.

[12:16] * LadyAlice [Beach] doesn't even notice the time spanning, as deep as she is in the muck of this world. Days, weeks, months pass by as she continues, having lost herself in this world's troubles.

[08:25] * LadyAlice [Beach] is brimming with an otherworldly power. She comes across the tree from yesterday (though it felt like years to her). The portal is dormant, shut, the mushrooms have faded in color and are faliing off the tree.

[08:26] * LadyAlice [Beach] reaches out with a hand and an immense blast of power radiates from her and smacks into the tree which lights up like a white breacon, reaching up into the heavens.
[08:27] * LadyAlice [Beach] ignores the frantics cries of the pixies around her. The portal has been forced open and she steps in at her full size. After she enters, the light continues to glow, though it warps the air around the tree. Dangerous.
[08:57] *** there are bees still flying around now, there might even be a few nearby whatever tree was restored if it's possible.
[08:59] *** Suddenly, the tree EXPLODES in a shower of bark, nuts, and bright, sparkling lights.
[08:59] * LadyAlice [Beach] brushes herself off as the smoke clears, standing in the middle of the clearing she caused in the forest.
[09:01] * LadyAlice [Beach] turns to glance back at where the portal used to be. It no longer exists. Nothing but charred tree trunk remains of what used to be this entrance to the Feywild realm.
[09:02] * LadyAlice [Beach] brushes her straight, long dark brown hair off her shoulder and calmly walks through the forest without a care in the world. She is no longer the Queen of the Feywild, nor does she have the powers that came with it, having explosively abdicated her throne.
[09:03] *** the bees move ever closer in curiosity.
[09:05] * LadyAlice [Beach] spots some bees and wonders what kind they are, though she doesn't stop to investigate. (Carpenter bees? Honeybees? Bumblebees?)
[09:05] * LadyAlice [Beach] isn't all that book smart.
[09:05] * LadyAlice [Beach] assumes they are regular bees, so her curiosity is not piqued.
[09:06] *** they are honeybees and don't look like they are native to the island.
[09:07] * LadyAlice [Beach] wouldn't notice if a species of bee were native or non-native or even invasive. Alice doesn't know these things nor does she care to learn.
[09:08] *** there is a beehive nearby however, going further into the forest.
[09:12] * LadyAlice [Beach] wanders aimlessly in the forest, trying to empty her mind of the months of work and fighting and arguing she had to deal with in the Feywild just now. She notices the beehive out of the corner of her mind but doesn't pay it any notice like she wouldn't pay notice to any other flora or fauna in the forest, as lost in her thoughts as she is.

[09:16] * LadyAlice [Beach] sits on the edge of the cliff, feet dangling. She stares out across the beautiful expanse of the island. She shudders, her fear from the events she had to endure trying to catch up to her and break through her normally cold and calm demeanor.

[09:17] *** There are more bees rushing out of the beehive, fanning out in all directions.

[09:24] * LadyAlice [Beach] sighs as she gets to her feet, though she isn't in a hurry. (I guess I should go check it out.)

[09:25] * Young Woman is rubbing her back with one hand, and keeping something precious in the other.

[09:26] * LadyAlice [Beach] frowns. She /looks at the Young Woman to see what she looks like and what she's wearing so she can base her opinion of it.

[09:27] * Young Woman looks like a young woman with a royal attire that is in yellow and black stripes, although the garb wraps around her body for obvious reasons.
[09:31] * Young Woman has blonde and black hair, her garb is a robe, is not wearing shoes, and there's no crown to signify royal status. and she looks completely human.
[09:33] * Young Woman also looks like she's holding onto something in her right hand, and a microscopic empty bottle on the dirt floor near her.

One location at the bottom of one of the cliffs, behind a waterfall, is a small cave with magical glowing mushrooms. Another location is a grove of gnarled, and spiky trees with pulsating, bright red berries. The third location is a natural spring, its mist changing colors as it flows around the cozy grove.

[09:33] * Hachi walks onto the side, feeling happy as the sea breeze fills her with its fresh, clear, salty scent.

[09:34] * Hachi pauses a little more than halfway to the shore. She lays down her overly large beach towel and places her sandals on one edge of it.
