[20:06] * @Chateaux Concierge decides it's just her natural age and hard living so doesn't push things. The fixes to her bone structure and eyes should be good enough. Also corrects any nerve damage that may have occured over time.

It's a remarkable collection of flowers that collectively depict Chateaux holding up planets and galaxies and time and a few semi-recognizable people, but the smile on her face is beatific, and the bird (whose feathers are the same color as Eliza's hair) pecks happily at the food that is kindly offered in spite of the other labors.

??? Opens their eyes, looks up and sees the strange worldwalker before then. He addresses them.

The man withdraws a large, serrated, rune-covered dagger that glints ominously in the dim lights of [BLEEP]. "There is no anesthetic, you understand. You will experience every single moment of this."

"No," he replied, smiling tautly. "No, you really aren't. Nothing you have done in your long, sinful life will have prepared you for this."

Pricking the tip of his finger with a ceremonial needle, the man inscribed a small series of eldritch sigils on his subject's forehead, intoning a blasphemous prayer belonging to the aeons before man. HE them sliced open his palm and bled profusely on his subject's chest.

"Again," he continued, "the pain--"

"--get on with it!" his subject commanded. "We're wasting time."

"What an odd complaint for someone like you to have," he replied, amused. "As you wish."

In the blink of an eye, he reversed his grip on the dagger, plunging it deep into his subject's chest, wincing slightly as they screamed in pure agony.

Without missing a beat, he began sawing open their ribcage, pulling out the first removed rib, then the second, third and fourth, all while his subject screamed and cursed and spat up blood.

As screams filled the air, he then reached into his trenchcoat, producing two elaborate silver boxes, which he carefully unlatched, opened, and set aside on a table, still within the warding circle.

Donning a special fingerless glove with a skull pattern on it, he thrust his hand into his subject's chest cavity, pulling out a glowing, wisp-like ephemeral mass of energy.

Subdividing it, he placed one half in each of the boxes. Then, returning to his screaming and palpitating subject, he thrust his hand in their chest again, tearing out two beating organs, each of which went into one box, merging with the white energies inside.

Quickly, he latched the boxes shut, and as his subject jerked, shook, screamed and spat, he began chaining up each box with ornate chains of ancient and unknowable design, smearing his blood on each box in a kind of arcane seal.

Eventually, his subject stopped screaming and lay inert on the table, unresponsive.

He felt the barrel of a weapon press into his back.

"Relax, [BLEEP]," he said confidently. "[BLEEP] will recover shortly when their soul catches up to their body. The ceremony was a success."
