[18:47] <Abe> This place.... used to be a candidate for a new Ark. That large signature is a Harmony Cube, meant to serve as the core and blueprint, to put it simply.
[18:52] <Abe> I've used the Cube's computational capabilities once before, to assist in Cinderella's recovery.
[18:56] <Nelius Raoul> Well, no reason to stick around here. Lead the way.

[19:00] *** Floating above the ground, albeit only by a few meters, is a massive cube, easily the size of a three-story structure.

[19:01] * Abe nods.
[19:02] <Zotia> Goodness... that thing was meant to construct an entire city?
[19:02] <Abe> Closer to an entire continent. It requires a massive amount of resources and power.
[19:02] <Nelius Raoul> Hey, check those out.
[19:03] * Nelius Raoul points to several glass-lines travelling towards the Harmony Cube, but their contents are near-empty.
[19:03] <Nelius Raoul> Looks like the Cube's starved of energy. Not too surprising, given the whole state of the world.
[19:07] <Zotia> Say, where was Glass Slippers stored?
[19:08] <Abe> I had hidden it with a flower bud. I wanted to reclaim it, but the Heretic I encountered didn't give me much of an opportunity.
[19:09] <Delta 3361-AF> ♦ I'm reading a new energy source.... it's coming from around that Harmony Cube.
[19:10] <Delta 3361-AF> ♦ Slightly...... behind and above?
[19:10] * Abe sees something near the Harmony Cube. "......what...."
[19:11] *** Something descends from the cube's rear section. A massive chunk of crystal crafted in a cross-shape with an azure core.
[19:11] <Abe> !!
[19:11] <Abe> There it is!
[19:12] <Zotia> That's Glass Slippers?
[19:12] <Abe> The crystals have overrun it, somehow....
[19:12] <Nelius Raoul> Looks like the crystals couldn't infect it, so they made a shell around it to act as an exo-suit.
[19:13] <Nelius Raoul> Not much choice. We need to smash that crystal open.
[19:13] <Nelius Raoul> You good with a gun, Abe?
[19:13] <Abe> .....I had one, but it's too far away for me to obtain.
[19:14] * Nelius Raoul unholsters Croixshot, and tosses it to Abe. "Might not have the kick you'd expect, but it should do for now."
[19:14] * Abe is a bit bewildered.
[19:15] <Nelius Raoul> Here goes.
[19:16] * Nelius Raoul dashes in with alarming speed, as Zotia and Abe find cover.
[19:20] *** The Crystalline Chamber unloads a nightmarish number of beams of light, all targeting the demon.
[19:21] * Nelius Raoul uses his axe, Maximov, to cut apart and deflect the beams. Zotia, in the meanwhile, has been targeting the azure core at Abe's behest.
[19:22] * Abe has been using the handgun to also target the core. She's quite surprised at the power of the gun.
[19:23] *** The core is struck with a combination of bullets and magic. The chamber goes to target the pair, only to feel solid metal tear through a chunk of it ---- Nelius had used the Boomerang Axe skill to slice the chamber open.
[19:25] *** The second the chamber focuses on Nelius, Zotia uses a Giga Star to blast away another crystal chunk.
[19:28] *** Enough of the crystal has been shorn away to reveal two massive slabs of glass and circuitry within it. A solid core of crystal, azure in color, is holding the two arrays together.
[19:29] * Abe suppresses her nerves, and aims.
[19:29] <Abe>(Wait for it..........)
[19:29] <Abe>(Wait for it................ now!)
[19:30] * Abe fires off a charged shot that strikes the core dead-on!
[19:31] *** The core shows several cracks. As it tries to repair the damage, Zotia fires a Giga Ice spell, causing the core to freeze.
[19:31] <Nelius Raoul>(Opportunity!)
[19:33] * Nelius Raoul leaps up to the core, and delivers a one-two strike --- first with his axe to crack the core further, and then a follow-up punch to shatter it!
[19:34] *** The core tries its damnest to hold, but it's reached its limit. Under the strength of the demon, the core shatters, the crystals losing their glow as they begin to fall to the ground.
[19:36] * Nelius Raoul reaches out to grab the two arrays, using his wings to hold them.
[19:38] <Delta 3361-AF> ♦ The signal has dropped completely. Enemy terminated.
[19:39] * Nelius Raoul lands, and heads over to Zotia and Abe.
[19:39] <Nelius Raoul> Overall, I'd say a job well done.
[19:39] * Nelius Raoul sets the arrays down, and Abe immediately sets the coffin down.

[20:00] * Abe closes her eyes, waiting to hear Cinderella's dismissal..... but instead feels hands on her face, gently feeling over every detail.

[20:10] <Nelius Raoul> We'll need to go back the way we came. The Harmony Cube's producing too much interference for us to be transported out.
[20:11] * Abe leads the way out, making only one detour to her old hideaway to pick up a few items.
[20:14] *** The group makes it back to the open area. Burroughs uses a gate to get everyone aboard.
[20:18] * Cinderella (Nikke) is quite intrigued by what she sees.
